Garrett, Let's turn off the smoke screen and try to address the real question which started this whole thread.. It is utterly moronic to use a nitrox mix with a max. po2 that limits your depth to 130, while the actual max. depth of the site is 170ft. The purpose of dive planning is to minimize the risks. By planning the above profile, your delibertly increasing the risk factor, and failing to utilize the rules for survival. If your not willing or capable of utilizing a proper trimix mix, then atleast use air as your bottom mix. That way, you negate the risk of a high po2 scenerio; and must only deal with the risk of having your head up your ass the entire dive due to the narcossis. Again, this is basic stuff boys & girls. If theres anyone following this thread who can't comprehend why the suggested dive plan of using nitrox should be deep-sixed, would you kindly submit your instructors name to Kevin so he can put them on the shit list.
