I've just subscribed to this group, so I thought I'd take the time to
introduce myself.
My name is Iain Robertson, I'm a BSAC Advanced Diver/Club Instructor, IANTD
Andvanced Nitrox, and just completed the TDI Extended Range course. I'm also
Secretary/Asst DO of my local Dive Club (Watford Underwater Club).
I'm trying to move into this area of diving as diving with my club (and the
BSAC in general) seems to have reached a plateau, where I'm doing the same
things over and again, and the challenge (and fun!) is starting to go.
This next bit is really only of interest to anyone in my area (London, UK) -
apologies to anyone else who reads it!
Since I'm new to the technical side, I'd love to meet with people who are
already into it in my area, and are willing to share ideas, experiences and
(hopefully) dives. I realise I've got much to learn about this side of the
