Sorry to disappoint but Larry Elsivier is not the only dude in Washington
pumping. There are a number of  us doing it right.

I, for example, pump Nitrox (continuous blending), Partial Pressure Deco Fills
to 80/100%, Argon and Trimix (probably more trimix than anyone else in the (US)
Pacific Northwest) using a Rix system (no booster yet but lots of helium and O2
in the banks). I'm not NAUI/ANDI but IANTD trained (through Blender IT). Maybe
that's why you didn't recognize another viable alternative.

Other folks in town also pump including Steve Pearson and Fifth Dimension and
Silent World.

We may not be South Florida but Nitrox/Mixed Gas diving is alive and growing in
the Northwest.

Come visit us any time for some nice Grade J air
