Subject: Re: Bondage wings
Why add something to a wing that is:

A. Not needed.
B. If used wrong, can in fact be dangerous. (Bungees too tight)
C. Causes more drag, then if used w/o it.
D. Can cuase snags, catch line, cable etc.
E. Has more failure points...two inflator hoses, two lp connections.
F. Cost's a BUNCH more.
G. Have inflators that are being recalled...

Bullet proof a set of Halcyons, Diverites etc with a innertube. Dive 80's in
a wetsuit, and wear a dry suit with steel and you don't need the extra
bladder. All of these things are the Mantra of the DIR philosophy.

Why not wear something that is proven safe. For most folks, it is more then
they need. But I for one would rather be over safe... I have something like
2000 logged lifetime dives, and I am still learning. I have entirely changed
my views on equipment configuration and feel 110% safe because of it. George
and JJ and Bill and Brent and all the WKPP folks have it worked out...and are
offering it up...For free...there is no charge for the knowledge of thousands
of dives...why not use it and be safer?

My .02 take it or leave it.
Sean Cary
