Dan -- I prefaced my questions, saying: >> If anything is innacurate, >> you point it out and show us why it's wrong: Thanks for clarifying the relationships and the viewpoints. you said: >I HAVE said all tech divers should train their cardiovascular system with an >aerobic sport. I still believe this. The differences in WKPP team decos >after huge exposures, versus the huge farm animal decos Stone, Brown et al >will be force to do after baby exposures, should underline this whole >concept. Your posts about training and diet not too long ago were excellent, helpful, well presented. I almost wrote you a note in appreciation of them -- and on your seeming change of heart when you decided that perhaps your message would be better received (as I and many others have argued often) without the howling, hormone charged criticisms and put-downs. Almost. You explained that you didn't know Jane or what she was up to, didn't know what her instr. would/would not do -- and no one else did either. So here are people in your own back yard that you cannot change/influence. My greatest puzzlement is why you constantly believe that heavy-handed tactics can save divers all around the world from themselves -- esp. when you have discovered, the worst way of all, that people will be who they are and do what they will, no matter how much you want them to see and adopt your view of the world/diving. If it was solely her instructor who talked her into all this, as you say, then does all your raging and fuming really amount to anything or is it wasted breath? Don't the facts, when presented clearly and accurately, tell us more and teach us more than any other method/source? Haven't many people been trying to tell you and your buds for a long time now that the message (which I agree with and have never argued with) would be better received if better presented? >Chris, If I could just get you to go a few rounds with me at Steve >Sheppard's gym, I'd have a really good shot at making the world a safer >place for humanity, by eliminating you. My safety message to you is , >"flush your self down the toilet before you smell up the list anymore, or >infect anyone". Dan -- you can't eliminate the ineffectiveness of your delivery that way. You can't improve the reception of your safety message that way. >> The impression I get -- from what you guys put on the list -- is that you >> all were her first source and her greatest influence before she even got on >> the boat that day. >Pure Chris Brown. No brains, plenty of lies, a master of the misdirection. I stand corrected. You didn't know her, she didn't know anything about you guys, and you had no influence on her. My apologies for seeing, from the posts, relationships that were not there. Meanwhile, you can pound me and everyone else who disagrees with you to a satisfyingly bloody pulp, and feel triumphant in your own way, but it seems you will still have the cotton in. And fail to understand that no matter how often you repeat your safety message, many readers will disregard or miss it because of your apparent desire to control how people think and what they do. It takes a real man to realize that's impossible -- and find new ways to do it better. Again, thanks for your clarifications. Christopher A.
