Subject: RE: stage regulators: To Din or not to Din
Date: Mon, 17 Aug 1998 19:29:59 +0200
During our last holiday in England we saw a guy with an o-ring blow on
his yoke-stage tank.
His bottom mix and the other stage was DIN.
ALL other divers were using ALL DIN.
So he could not change the reg and had to stay in the water longer, or
think about something else. ;-)
Besides our bad german sould producing more and more valves/fittings and
Gas-Laws the DIN stuff is
great. All other things like some ox-clean-bullshit and ox-valves is
useless stupidity.

(For those law-freaks out there.... of course we only dive this stuff in
foreign countries...... ;-) )
