When i wreck dive i usually drop my deco bottle on the wreck anyway. The only time i do not is when the wreck is new to me and i have difficulties finding my way back or maybe if there are strong currents. I use a 45 cft Oxygen bottle for anything shallower than 70m and do not bother with using Nitrox for deco on shallower dives (like 65m for 20 min). Even though i carry only a small deco bottle it gets substantially easier to swim without it and it is unwise and sometimes impossible to penetrate with the deco bottle on your body. As an argon bottle i use a 0.4L or a 0.7 litter bottle. The 0.7 bottle have lasted for dives as deep as 120m. The Argon bottle goes to my waist belt in front of my AUL type light canister. It is completely out of the way and adds nothing to additional drag. I put it in front of the canister to avoid that it interferes with the deco bottle. Putting the Argon bottle on the double tanks does not work for me while doing wreck penetrations. It gets stuck i narrow places all the time. If you only swim on the outside of a wreck and never drop your deco bottles then it might be a reasonable idea to inflate your suit from a deco bottle. But that is not the kind of diving i do or probably most people do either.
