At risk of being labled a stroke I'll have to admit that on the surface this sounds like a good idea for shorter OW exposures in moderate temps. You do have one less peice of gear to deal with and it seems to agree with the Hog. idea of "if any piece of gear can serve two purposes then it should". Kind of like the buckle or knife sheath implementations. Interesting...
