Richie - did somebody yell "Hey Stupid" at Stone again? I don't know about the rebreather, but the jerk copied my scooter, and he copied the wrong version and then blew that completely. I can tell you , from the Cis Lunar that Zumrick showed me ( assuming this is the one you are talking about), that it is NOT a copy of the current EX-19, so for once you and I agree. By the way, does the Cis Lunar still have the ancient DECAP crap in it ( the seven year old one)? This is pretty funny. I've seen this misconception before. The only thing that doesn't make sense, however, is that Bill Stone published a series of articles outlining the basic design of his rebreather, long before he even knew the EX-19 existed. So, let's see: The USN has a top-secret rebreather development program, and Bill Stone publishes his ideas all over the place. If any copying was done, in which direction do you think the copying went? My honest answer? I don't think either tried to do any copying. I see convergencies in nature all the time. It's no surprise that clever engineers will arrive at the same optimal solution to a specific problem. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
