I'm sure Bill Hamilton will appreciate you calling his algorithm "crap".
Would you prefer Buhlmann? George, you need to get something perfectly clear
to your audience when you talk about your "magic carpet" decompression
procedures, and that is: Most people would be wheelchair-bound if they even
thought to try to emulate what you do. It may also come as a suprise to you
that your deco profiles are (proportionally) weenie-conservatism compared to
what south Pacific Islanders get away with on a routine basis. The problem
is, every once in a while, these guys are "seen by a mermaid", and become
cripples. Having been down that path once already, that's a risk I'm just not
willing to take. I'm not sure you realize how small your sample size really
is for your procedure; nor how very real the possibility that one of these
days you might need to be carried out of the water on a stretcher and wear a
catheter for the rest of your life. It's chaos in your body, so the next time
a butterfly flaps its wings in Brazil, you might not survive the dive. I hope
to have a good 40 or 50 years of active diving ahead of me. That was very
nearly cut short by arrogance of youth once already. One of these days, you
might want to consider growing up yourself.

Aloha,
Rich
