Well first of all George, thank you for the human "lets go over it"
portion of your reply. If debating your slandering remarks and wearing
my long hose on a different post is what divide a good diver /instructor
from a "dive sop monkey" so be it. If you feel that you have to be an
asshole than, so be it (even though its childish). Just don't plan on me
being quiet while you talk crap about everone. Your techniques are
wonderful but your an asshole and I have a hard time with it. So be
it...
I ran my long hose from the right for a while and then took a theory
from another prominate figure in diving and tried it. As you, I've tried
many different ways of wearing my gear, took many pieces of advise, and
even listen to an asshole like you. I've never closed my mind to the DIR
philosiphy and I practic it except for the long hose thing which I could
change someday. Maybe this information could have been recieved better
if your asshole attitude wasn't there. I feel you are dead wrong in the
manor which you believe it takes you to get your point accross.
You've stated that there is no modification to your method but yet I
did'nt see JJ diving with the same configuration as you a year ago at
peacock. I know he's an IANTD instructor and a great one at that, but
you may want to talk to him about the DIR ways of configuring and have
him move his bc hose over.
To bad you feel its tragic that I think your an asshole but I doubt
thats going to effect anyone taking a course from me. Also I believe
techdiver is a public forum and it works by having more voices than just
yours so hang in there and try prozac.
