Steve, he's not addressing you. He's addressing the dumb-as-
dogshit technical diving heroes who would answer your questions
with ignorant bullshit or deliberate misinformation, and put
you in jepardy without a second thought in order to sell you
useless equipment or to protect their investment in technical
dive training.

Here in Australia there are instructors who dive one cylinder
of mix and one cylinder of air while they have students in
the water, and advise their students to dive the same way in
the name of economy. No amount of polite reason is going to
change their dangerous, culpable behaviour. And if it weren't
for George cranking up the volume in his own inimicable style,
the voice of reason would never have risen above the braying
of these fools.

George once said "There's nothing polite about death." And
you should note that he doesn't so much try to educate you
(that's your job, after all) but warn you against the horrible
stupidities perpetrated by a frightening number of technical
diving 'authorities'.

Why don't you just sit back and get the lie of the land. You
will soon be able to distinguish between a sometimes abrasive
internet style and the real obscenities of technical diving.

A thousand blessings to you Steve, on your quest for peace and
enlightenment. You might find the enlightenment here.
