Richard Roost, according to the Daily News, was a technical *consultant* and *instructor* of the dive team for the Washtenaw County Sheriffs Department in Michigan. One of the divers that was on the boat that day stopped in my shop today, here are some details that he told me. Richard Roost had dive tables for 19/30 mix. He had two OMS 45's, one with O2, the other with 36%. NONE of his tanks, the doubles, the OXYGEN or the 36% were labeled, and none of the regulators were marked. The O2 and 36% regs were apparantly the same. He was recovered inside the wreck with doubles empty, stages with gas. Wrong gas, no line, unmarked tanks. When are we gonna learn? regards, Raimo -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. Send subscribe/unsubscribe requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'.
