The NAUI Code of Ethics says: "6. Instruct objectively, without favoritism or granting special advantage, and not expose the student to prejudice, embarrassment, or disparagement" The NAUI Training Department, P.O. Box 14650, Montclair, Californai, 91763-1150 FAX: 714/621-6405 should be notified in writing of *any* standards or ethics violations. I'm puzzled as to if the students reported this in their Course Evaluations or in the NAUI Cares quality assurance survey. I'm not sure of procedures beyond the U.S. & Canada, but every student in North America gets the NAUI Cares feedback survey upon course completion. Also, instructors observing such violations should report them to the NAUI Training Dept. NAUI will also investigate complaints against retailers (NAUI PRO Facilities) for Standards or Ethics violations. I think a retailer would be on shakey ground if s/he failed to act on a complaint against an instructor operating under the retailer's auspices. Dave Truslow NAUI 15290L
