#Thank you for taking this problem seriously.   Please do either make the
#complaint yourself, or assist students with this problem in making this
#complaint themselves, and being a witness and a resource for them.

These are very serious charges. If you do make a complaint yourself or
assist anyone else in make a complaint, you need to be prepared to prove
beyond any question your accusation. I would suggest you secure something
beyond a diver telling you that they will backup what you report. I would
not go near filling a complaint unless I had affidavits from those that
were harassed.

#My only other suggestion would be to call Andrea at Lifeguard Systems
#(914) 339-7413.  She recently wrote an article published in the (New York)
#SubAqua Journal, in which she discusses instructor/student harassment,
#and her failing instructor candidates every now and then on those grounds.

Unfortunately, there is a growing trend of women that are exerting sexual
harassment against men. This is especially prevalent in middle management,
were more and more men are filing lawsuits against female managers. One
attorney I spoke to about this (she specializes in employee/employer
sexual harassment lawsuits) suggested women may feel they needed to right
a wrong, even if there never was a wrong that needed righting.

I wouldn't contact Andrea concerning anything unless she made known how
many candidates she failed were men, and how many were women. It's
possible that a person is overly sensitized to an issue to the point of
lacking objectivity. Bear in mind, ultimately you are responsible for
your actions.
