I believe the term "zip ties" is thrown around a bit to much to encompass all
zip ties on the market. Many ties are manufactured to far more demanding specs
i.e. military and aerospace, than general application pieces found at home
depot, molded off some worn out generic mold in China.
Try TRW Fasteners Division for some quality zip ties, I am sure that they will
stand up to appropriate applications in SCUBA.
