Hi Gary.  I see that this is available via McMaster-Carr.  Check:

or just go to the top and search on "bungee".  100' of the 3/8"
nylon-covered cord (I *think* that's the right diameter) is only 
$20.  Also available in 25' and 50' lengths at $0.23/ft.
