When I bought my DIN valves, I bought two OMS valves in anticipation of the bold day when I strapped on double 120's and a diaper and clipped myself to an engine hoist and was lowered into the water. Anyway, there's a left and a right, and by chance, I put the left one on the tank I use most. That is, this tank will be on the left side of my future rig, since the knob is on the left side of the valve and the manifold port is on the right. I never particularly noticed this, never really cared. Air goes on and off like any other valve, to me. BUT THIS BAFFLES EVERY IDIOT AT EVERY FILL STATION I'VE TAKEN IT TO. It's amazing. They cannot understand it. Typical: got a fill last night. He cracked it pre-fill, and was surprised by gas venting. Guess he thought it was full-open and empty. Put the fill adapter on, turned air on, filled it, shut the tank vavle, thought, noo, that's not right, turned the air back on, vented the hose to loosen the fill adapter, it ran for a long time, so then he shut my tank back off, successfully vented the hose, and gave me my tank.
