>Our Captain/Owner Steve Bielenda, supports the actions of his crew both >privately and publicy. If he did not belive that our statments and actions >were warranted, we would not be part of the team. As far as what my good >friend and dive partner Chris Friel says, he's probably right. We have been >dive partners for 8 years now and I wouldnt trade him for anyone. OK, Joel. Let me make this perfectly clear, since you speak with the blessing of your employer. I own a business, and would fire, on the spot, with no appeal, any employee who called a customer, potential or otherwise, an asshole. There are many boats on the beach, that used to be dive boats, along with their "captains". There are way too many boats that visit the same sites the Wahoo does to even consider stepping on board a boat with the attitudes displayed here by its crew. The differences between boats are not the hulls, because all boats have hulls. The differences are not the sites, because they stay the same. The difference is the Captain, his attitude, and the attitude of the crew. We don't need you, Joel, you need us. If I find any of my employees posting crap like this about my business, I will fire them. I am amused by employers who condone it. Bielenda condones his crew swearing at customers ashore, why would I think that changes at the water's edge? Here's a clue, Goldman, it doesn't. ------------ "C'mon, you sons of bitches, you want to live forever?" -First Sergeant Dan Daly, 1918 ------------ -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
