well I guess I should up date all of you as to what happened last week, well those that still care about not letting this happen to someone else. remember as her boyfriend I have no legal rights here, you have as many as I do. anyway her brother informs me that dericks lawyer approched who she thought was the familys counsel and offered to settle out of court (derick only, not product) for one million u.s. they refused. monday her family signed with a law firm, they (the firm)can not understand why criminal charges have not been filed, the DA is still waiting for the sherrifs office to decide to press manslaughter - culpable negligence charges against derick, I guess we will eather have to sit back and wait for this to happen or hope the law firm or anyone else can speed up this decision. I also want to give someone a chance to clarify something they said before I post it. it is from IANTD. the reason for telling even this much is that I really feel that 1) derick is very worried legally but in my opinion not really concerned moraly . 2)that people are loosing sight on why we are keeping this thread going - it is - *** to prevent this from happening to someone else***** changes must be made. the pain and suffering I am going through is not fun. I hope to be the last to ever go through it for the reasons I am. we need to correct what is wrong.
