I'm pretty sure McMaster Carr (a catalog that sells everything including the kitchen sink) sells a plastic edge channel which would go on the edges of your U-chanl. You can buy it buy the foot. McMaster Carr has a Web site, but I don't know the URL I'm also considering making my own single tank adptr., & was wondering: 1.) why 2" channel? Seems to me 3" or even 4" would be better & more stable. How wide is Halcyone's? I hear their's is pretty good. 2.) What wall thickness. I think 1/4" should be good enough. 3.) Where did you buy the stuff. I can't find anyone who will sell me a length less than 25' (way more than I need) Thanks, -Tom Jammer Six wrote: > > I've built a single tank adapter out of 2" Aluminum channel, and things > look fine. > > The only concern I have is that the edges of the channel will scratch the > galvanizing on my tanks where they meet. > > Has anyone had this problem?
