I am not all knowledgeable of the WKPP but my understanding is they
primarily a single large group of diver working the project. Granted the
have many very good divers, techniques, knowledge, etc, and options. Their
focus is Florida style cave diving and maybe some ocean diving (drift deco,
etc.).

You speak of the deaths by agencies. Well, the agencies are international
by nature with many groups and styles throughout the world.

I do not believe that it is in the best interest of the sport and industry,
to say nothing about the divers, for a single focus group to set
international standards and judge the whole. They will simply not see or
understand all the needs or requirements (Mid-Atlantic, North-East, West
Coast, Caribbean, UK, Japan, etc.).

Medical, Engineering, Technologies, etc. standard are set by committees
with representations from the various regions to ensure the appropriate
representation and needs. Let us not turn this into a situation that with
require a Boston Tea Party. Then Big Brother will step in and legislation
will occur.

Look at the big picture and all of our needs.

Yeah! Let's add up the number of deaths over recent years (measurable
facts) and see who's got the right to judge!

mud throwing

times.
