No, really. I am serious. RS sells the DuraLife 9-volt Lithium battery for about $5.00 a crack (no pun intended). When I discovered this, I depleted the supply for the entire North East Coast. I own a Phoenix and dabbled with both alkaline (good for about 1 week with decent low battery warning) and nicad (good for about .5 dive with no useful low battery warning). The solution - Radio Shack Lithium. Be advised, not every store carries them. You might have to call around a bit.
