Hi All, Went to Beneath the Sea this weekend and figured I'd give a short report. Lots of dive travel so that basically sucked. Saw lots of friends so that was cool since it was raining and sleeting so there was no diving to be had. Stopped by the Brownie's booth and was trying to convert people to Hogarth rigging. I think I saw the light bulb go on in a couple of heads. The highlight for me was trying on the new DUI "tech" BC. What a crazy set up. Way too cluttered with TONS of straps and snaps (all plastic naturally). The pockets, although angled the correct way (forward), were placed too far back. In addition there were two waist buckles you had to use and chest one to boot. The first was for the harness and the other for the pockets (lots of them). Big ones on the sides (which you had to contort to get in) and small billow like (4x4 maybe) along the belt. Weight was integrated naturally like every one seems to be doing these days. All in all it gets two thumbs down on the "Art" scale. Way too much money, you could easily make 2 Hog. configurations for the same amount of money (wings included). I say highlight since it justifies all the time and research I put in when building my setup. Sorry to bash as I usually don't do that (at least not in public) but I know people have asked about the setup. Anybody else try it on and agree/disagree?
