  From what I heard, neon is about as narcotic as nitrogen and very expensive,
but it dissolves much slower than nitrogen. Don't bother with argon or krypton
or xenon: they are more narcotic than nitrogen in proportion to their atomic
weights, and (I heard) xenon is a good anaethetic.
