I agree with Jim, Roger. I don't think we need to respond with "factual
statistics", to prove this point! What I see is that there are a lot of
instructors teaching newbies how to dive thinking on their money and not
on their security, I am not saying that those are from TDI or IANTD. I
actually don't care from where they are certified, what I do care is
about the problem! I think we should talk a little bit more about the
security in diving. I am from Brazil, and worked as a divemaster in Rio
de Janeiro. I quitted because the owner of the diving school was not
teaching security measures, but giving a small, fast and very profitable
course! Please Roger, don't tell us to "respond with factual
statistics", let's face the facts, we are having some problems with
diving security, especially with deep air diving!
