What about when (minimal) gas redundancy is wanted/required? I'm now 
in the habit of taking a 20cf pony bottle with me on my annual 
Caribbean dive vacation. I'm considering using the long hose on the 
main cylinder and short hose on the pony. Does this make any sense?
