Hi Jeremy,
That number, 1 to 2 deaths from deep air per week is alarming.  Is that
recreational divers or technically certified divers.  According to DAN
research for 1996 there were 9 deaths of recreational divers who were
not qualified for the dives they did and two fatalities involving Ean &
Mixed gas diving.  That comes out to eleven.  By your numbers the death
rate should have soared for 1997 and 1998.
Where are you getting your info.
