Todd

I can only comment on the Bare.

I have been diving the Trilam Commercial for about a year now. A number of
dive associates have the next model down which is not self donning.

"Commercial" Good points
------------------------
-Trilam material, hard to go wrong.
-Pocket on the leg.
-Self donning.
-Relatively inexpensive.
-Elastic spats keep air out of the legs.

Bad points
----------
-Neoprene seals. At the time, they indicated that they could not do latex.
in retrospect, I should have bought a suit with latex seals.
-Neoprene boots. The rubber boots were additional dollars. I should have
spent the money. I am now of the opinion that neoprene does not belong
 anywhere on dive gear.
-There were no XXL's in stock for me to try on (I am 6'3", 210lb). When I
got the suit, the legs were too short. Bare fitting charts indicated that
the suit fits to 6'5". I do not know anyone 6'3" with legs that short,
let alone 6'5". They did add three inches to the legs for me at no charge,
but they used neoprene (see previous comment).
-Many friends with the next model down ended up sending them back due to
a bad lot of glue. Bare was good, and replaced the suites with a newer
model. Personally, I have put 50-60 dives on my suit with no issues.
-I still need ankle weights to keep my feet down. I suspect that a better
designed suit would eliminate this problem.

Overall
-------
Overall, I would give the Bare Trilams a "Not Bad". They offer reasonable
value for the money. But in retrospect, I would spend more money and get
everything I wanted.
