Senor Amigo - we are talking about gas under pressure, not playing a
flute. Use the 3/8 port and a normal long hose - even the worst reg wil
deliver if set properly. The 1/2 inch port is like the lures in a tackle
store - made to appeal to the stroke, not the fish. It makes sense to
the unititiated, while producing roars of laughter from anyone who has a
clue. Tell whatever dive shop savant who told you this to gop back to
his Seven Eleven ( corner store for you Brits) job.
