Subject: Poseiden failures

After repeated failures on my newer Poseidens, I check the parts under
a microscope. I have saved the failed parts, and I also have a
collection of original parts form several years ago.

  What I found is the the pistons are flawed, they gouge out and wear
the seat until it fails. This takes about 8-15 hours of use.

  I have no delusions about getting these strokes to do it right, so I
am asking that if any of you dive shoppers out there have any of the old
rebuild kits, I would like to buy a few . I only need the piston and
seat, but will take whatever makes it a profitable deal for you.
