Interesting.
I was pricing helium lately, and the local distributors were fairly vague
about grades, and said for human consumption a super,super clean grade was
needed, at a tad over $100 a tank for a 260-300 cf tank, which is about 4
or 5 times the cost of O2. What grade are you using?
BTW, the only shop I know around here which has been doing tri-mix is
getting $90-100 for a tankful.
