You know, I'm sick and tired of deep-air teaching, money grubbing, worthless, half-assed agencies, like TDI, bitching, whining and moaning on these lists. I am also sick and tired of so-called instructors carrying bogus certifications from bogus agencies, like TDI, coming on these lists and huffing and blowing the party line, like teaching deep air. I came to the conclusion years ago that being narced is a major component of the popularity of diving. From 60-120 feet or so being narced adds a nice, euphoric buzz to the underwater experience. Below that, you are really stoned and a hazard to yourself and to your fellow divers. Like driving drunk, you can get away with it a certain amount of times. But sooner or later, just as sure as Gods Little Green Apples, you are gonna fuckup and die. Now, if you were a money-grubbing, scamming agency how could you make a buck off this? Well, lets look at drug pushers. The first sample is free (intro to diving), start you off with a little pot (advanced diver). Throw a little coke in there to give it an edge (nitrox). Having fun? Well, lets snort some dragon! (advanced nitrox) What's the matter? Feeling a little shakey? Speeedballll! (Deep Air). What happens if you OD? (pick a stiff) Who cares? There's a lot more suckers where you came from. So what does this make TDI and other deep-air pushing agencies? Nothing but a bunch of goddamn, stinking, drug pushers. Not only are they selling the buzz, they are a bunch of addicts as well, something even slimey drug pushers manage to avoid.
