Steve,

That is not the story I got last weekend while I was up at Whitefish.
Would you like to tell us why Darryl's boat was making such good time in to
port if he was having problems getting his boat started?  Or how about why
he was coming in when you say he was going out?  Lets look at what you have
to say....

"If Darryl would not have had battery trouble, which forced him to shut off
his radio, he would have been the first boat to respond.....  Get the
facts, he was trying to get his boat started to go out to get your diver
that you left decoing in the water."

Fact:	Darryl was coming in to port at the same time as the "Scuba Tank".
Fact:	If  Darryl knew of the problem (as you assert), his radio must have
been working. 

So despite the problems Darryl was having, with the radio off,  making way
into harbor, Darryl somehow knew that there was a problem.  What all the
witnesses saw (Darryl coming into port) was an illusion and in fact Darryl
was leaving port!  You must think every one of us on this list are stupid.
You contradict your self in your post then ask us to believe you?  Go away
and shut up before I�m forced  hammer you too.
