Had a nice bunch of dives this weekend, did a night dive on the 1800, 
woke up to the U-85 and then went on to a couple more on the Benson. Many 
bugs, tautaug & black bass were taken. U-85 had special meaning to one 
who has seen "Das Boot" 5 times. Benson esp. nice with some neat 
penetrations and great vis. Got to check out a farallon scooter on the 
second Benson dive. Uh oh, daddy needs a new toy...

But, my AUL did a header off the tank rack in an unguarded moment. It 
landed on it's base and cracked open like an egg. Had to revert to my dim 
but rugged pelican. OK, how much is this fuck up going to cost me? (Not 
that anyone else on this list has ever busted their AUL or anything, heh 
heh). Need to prep myself before calling in for the bad news.
