I did in fact use custom tables when I did the dives (see my post from about three weeks ago, "Gas & Air dives done"). I don't think the fact that they weren't designed/tested for this use is an issue - they weren't designed to be used as depth gauges & bottom timers on trimix dives, but work fine for this. The real issue is that they don't account for the fact that existing He bubbles from the previous dive may make the Haldanean model too inaccurate. Then again, I don't believe that custom table programs take this into account either, except insofar as they may use different J factors than the dive computer does. John jheimann@ma*.nd*.gt*.co*
