Below is an exchange from the Compuserve Scuba Forum regarding the Palmer incident. Chris Parret posted a report, and as you can see , Rod Farb questioned it. Notice that what Parret says is in COMPLETE CONTRAST TO WHAT GIALLIAM SAYS. Parret, who does not have the nerve to post this nonsense here, since it is obvoiusly so full of contradiction that it would not survive the scrutiny of anyone wiht half a brain. You should see the rest - really ridiculous. All of you dumb red necks and deep air idiots can criticize me all you want, you can write letters like Gilliam did, and you can cry and call your lawyers and do whatever you want - deep air diving is for strokes, and the only possible good thing that can come from this is that maybe somebody out there will not do it and get killed like Rob did. The heart attack, seizure, ect.. have all surfaced since I got back from Egypt. I do not recall that theory surfacing there. But mind you, nobody much wanted to talk about it over there. it was a little to close to home for most of us, and there was still a lot of diving to do for the rest of the week.
