Good afternoon all, Where are these letters that Rennaker (above) requested you write to Robert Stoss, Dick Long, Lamar Hires, and myself. I haven't seen a one. Let um rip. Let me help you get started by asking you FOLLOWERS and alledged LEADERS a few questions. I would like someone to tell me why it is better to dive while being drunk on nitrogen? TDI seems to suggest that this is an acceptable practice and by simple default if nothing else, have advocated same by the most recent fatal episode'S without recall or admission of wrong. Will you be supervising your childs first driving lesson as the insroketor shows that a case of beer will lower your loved ones chance of making it to the grocery store? Do we need to get drunk (nitrogen or alcohol) to learn that this socially unacceptable practice will impare your ability to respond to a demanding situation? All I hear is rhetoric about name calling (an obvious distraction from the real problem), do you guys think we run companies on smokescreens or real material. Brett Gilliam must have no real material so he must fabricate the smokescreen letter that I just saw, totally twisted from the facts, and incredibly irresponsible leadership. That letter was as insulting as the multiple ATLANTIS rebreathers that keep showing up on yatchs with; "Just program the Air-x Nitrox computor to supply gas and you'll be fine" training.(Brett, send me your e-mail address, I have more to add to this). Would PALMER have been planing air dives to 200+ (at a trimix facility) if all the other "LEADERS" had been diving mix and promoting safety, sanity, adventure and discovery? Explain how a non-hypoxic TRIMIX at intermediate depths is more dangerous than a NARCOTIC, "anyone can do it" AIR. Why does the dive industry continue to ignore common sense safety advances? You guys cannot complain about the bad language on this one, so get to it, you must have one hand available to type with. Sincerely Yours, Robert M.
