We are clearly going to upset some folks here(the ones that put down
deposits on magic carpet rides). I told Joe we would ship his unit 2-4
weeks after receipt of deposit. He mailed the deposit the day before we
finished his unit. I guess we are ready to start advertising HALCYON.
What an interesting concept for this new segment of our industry; BUILD,
DIVE, then Take money. I am confident that being accurate on delivery
times, along with the various added values (NON-TASK Loading for one)
inherent in Jacks design, will prove to be the choice of the waiting
market. One per week seems to be a reasonable goal for now.
Imagine what the mail order training agencies will do when we start
taking Atlantis 1 rebreathers in trade (at serious values just to get
them out of the hands of the disappointed in rebreathers crowd). We can
then launch a real training program for those machines as well and have
the advantage of the largest fleet of rental and training units. The
ATLANTIS 1 is an interesting method of showing divers what previous
rebreather technology will not do for you.
