Bottom line, Palmer was an idiot and a danger to every one he came in
contact with if it involved teaching them anything about diving. he
has been going around the world for the past several years filling his
pockets withmoney at the expense of the safety of those he "trained".
he trained no one.

To my knowledge he never once in the past few years attempte to teach
a proper program to anyone. It was always the shorter the better, he
would certify a rebreater IT in an afternoon and that would be a long
course.

He and a few other go around teaching this deep air bullsit and saying
that you can learn to "dive to 66 msw safely" because it is easy to
draw in the suckers with that. You don't need any special equiment, we
can tie those two 80 cf AL's togeather, throw on two or three SPG's
and we are ready for a 100 msw air dive.

He was consistant on one thing, every program he taught was bogus and
full of crap and anyone trained by him would do well to seek
retraining as soon as possible if you value your life. Unless of
course you also do not think that the rules apply to you, in which
case you to will eventually be the topic of this very same
conversation.

Palmer wanted to jump off that boat and prove to those he was about to
rip off for some kind of bullshit that he was the hero they needed, so
much for that. I will wager those fellows are reconsidering their
venture into safe deep air diving.

This guy was a robber and a blight on the diving profession as is
known by many. It is not being said because it does not look good.
Bottom line this guy was infactuated with his own press, and now he is
fish food.

this was not a planned and executed dive , it was a stupid excercise
in ego and a cruel blow to his family and friends who cared for him I
am sure.

For them I feel sorrow, for him I feel none, his death is no loss to
the profession of teching diving.

To all of you people in the Red Sea who he had a particular affinity
for ripping off with his line of crap I advise you to seek out real
training as soon as possible or you or someone you 'certify' will wind
up at the bottom as well.

As far as Asia goes someone else has already stepped in to train the
hundreds of IT's and the like who will get the quick and easy
certification and might even actually think it is real.

So please don't get on here and try to make palmner out to be a
victim, a hero, and accident or any other bullshit. He got his wish,
test fate without the proper training and disipline and you to can
join him.

If anyone wants to start a Palmer crusade let me first warn you that
there are so many incidents and facts that can be shown in support of
every word said here that it would take weeks to assemble it all.

I am not speaking of the man, but rather his actions, but then again
are we not defined in this brief life by our actions ?
