Tom, you have seen a lot of them come and go. One would think that they
would have noticed that you are still here. Maybe somebody will
eventually ask, "why?", and at that point we can move on away from this
kind of thing. 

 I also feel pretty badly about this. Our first reaction at WKPP, when
we heard he ws dead, was, "What is it that we don't know that is waiting
for US", since we thought , as you did, that he was not doing anything
dumb, but now we also feel bad since there but for the Grace of God go
all of us. 

 Read "Blue Holes of the Bahamas", and see what he says about his first
experience snorkeling in the tidal pools in England as a child, and then
his first imprssion cave diving. He should have read that before each
dive he made. I guess it made a biger impression on me than it did on
him, and now he is serving as a power of example , again, the hard way.
Let's not forget that one. - G
