The only place I have seen that is on post on the cavers list.

Hey Tom, long time, glad to have you back. If you happen to have access to
Dec/Jan '95 copy of AquaKink (AquaCorp), you will see that you are
mistaken. Pg. 64 ".... they mean to tripple the 6,000-foot
penetration accomplished by the Woodville Karst Plain
Project." BTW, tripple is in italics in the article to add emphasis.(I have
this page framed and hanging over my scooter rack) So we're talking 18 G's.
Now Tom, I ahvn't been around diving as long as you, but I smell Bullshit.
Theoretically they may be able to go 18,000-feet, but as you and I both know
it's a little different in a deep, dark water filled environment, as they
well found out in '87.
Question- How many of their lead divers have been over 6-7 grand at any
depth?
Tom, I assure you, that you can not practice deep, long-range cave
exploration at peacock or Jackson Blue. Do they even have lead divers? ( I
hear they're still recruiting). ( Rock & Roll Weenie)

Pg. 68 -- Bill Stone "I havn't even bothered to think about going back
untill all the pieces are in place. I mean, closed-circuit has really not
been ready until now, with the MK5. And you can play what I term open-circuit
heroics and EKE out another 15-20 percent .......... In my mind it's Russian
roulette."

Let's see, their max pen. in '87 was in B-tunnel. What was it 4,176 ft.? Our
last open circuit dive was to ... oh yea, 10,000 ft. I guess maybe you
could say we EKED out a little more than 15-20 percent, and only used back
gas for inflating our wings. BTW Bill, the Hero quit cave diving.
HA Ha ha, eke out another 15-20 percent. Get a Clue, smokedog.

I will not even delve into " the hole, ... the 20-story shaft that King
wants to bore into A-tunnel"

Hey maybe we can get King to lop off the top of Everest and move it to
Florida. I've always wanted to climb it, it just always seemed to high and
way to cold.

On Saturation diving, " Bill feels we could decompress at 180, bounce up to
120, enter the capsule, and get blown back down to 180," King says. "This is
just preliminary stuff, but if we did three hours at 300, it would require
less than two hours of decompression to reach 180 feet. That gives a total
in-water time of five hours, which is no problem. Certainly it's not like
running all the way up to the surface, which is 27 hours of decompression."

Tom, do you know anything about Sat. diving? Isn't this hillarious, and they
wonder why George T's off on them. Thank you Jack. Oh yeah, George, JJ I
guess we need to go back and do about 14 more hours of deco for our 3.5 hr.
bottom time last weekend, according to King.

These guys are great. The rest of the article is about media attention, and
efforts to attract corporate sponsors. I guess we know where they stand.

I suggest that you read the insert on WKPP, In-your-I. George called it
exactly, "then we can do a six-stage and get to 9,000 ft., after that I
want to go rebreather." I'm telling you back then I thought G was just as
full of shit as Stone/King, but you read the article, He called it perfect. Yo
u know where I stand. You read the article, and judge for yourself who is
right on the mark, trying to preserve and protect the resource, and who is
full of shit, looking only for glory.

I doubt that anyone is going to overshadow the penetration efforts of
WKPP at this time let alone as the line gets extended more. In addition
to top diving, good equipment , and balls

Wow, Tom that was a stretch.

I for one and I think others really would like to see the published
objectives and take out all the speculation.

I myself welcome the challenge. Go long. The end of your line only gives us
a new jumping off point. Where ever the usdct ends their line is where the
WKPP starts its new survey.

Mercedes and I plan on enjoying the fall afternoons while you guys are
implementing your Buffoonery. This is my vacation. I plan on
exercising,................ ,............................ I could tell
you, and you still wouldn't understand, (Whatever)
I'm bringing my Beach chairs and Suntan lotion. See Ya, -JB-
