What works works........and my system works in cold sumps very
well......I have been there and done it so I speak from experience
.............. Use it or don't use it ......its your choice...............
Since you have never even seen this system or tried it in a sump how can you
intelligently comment on it......

The hogarthian system by the way is designed for use by a team of divers
working together, it includes the use of a manifold and long hose.

I am diving SOLO with independent side mounts and no manifold in cold
water. This is not a hogarthian system........ it is a different
environment and a different approach. I am willing to give up the slight
loss of streamlining with my approach because as I have stated the advantages
in my enviroment out weigh the disadvantages.............

The cutters are in there carrier until I need them which is almost
never. I don't make a habit of wrapping my self in line and cutting my self
free.........
Even if they were out and I had to rapidly reach for some thing they are
so light and the attaching lanyard is so short that it would not be a
problem........................ I have tried this with this system and it
works........ ................... My cutters are as likely to get tangled as a
long hose on a Hogarthian diver is to strangle him.........or bats are likely
to fly into your hair in a cave ..............these things just don't work
that way ................

Would I dive this when wearing a true Hogartian system on a scooter
dive. No because the environment is different and this system would not be
appropriate or even needed.

                                            Safe Diving
