Rich Pyle is an advocate of deep stops, and he's described his method here in detail (check the Techdiver archives). I believe he's also been published in more traditional paper-based forums. His method, IIRC, involved a first stop at 2/3rds the dive's maximum depth and then a series of stops each at 2/3rds the remaining depth until they got close enough together to merge into the regular stops. But best to check for his own words on the matter. Speaking of which, it's been awhile now since I've seen Rich on the list. -- Anthony DeBoer http://www.onramp.ca/~adb/ adb@he*.re*.or* (here) adb@ge*.co* (work) #include "std.disclaimer" -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
