Bill Rennaker has finally gone over the boundary of
just plain stupidity into malicious and vicious illegal acts
- he has broken the law. You all remember the mail bomb that
Rennaker sent to the cavers list. You also remember all of
the hate mail from pissed-off recipients that ensued. Well,
Rennaker has printed this out and taken it to the Suwannee
County Sheriff, where he attempted to file a complaint that
I had threatened his life. Being the rocket scientist that
he is, he handed them mail which was clearly from other
people.
The sheriff called Safari.net ( Rennaker told them it
was from there ) and asked them about it - they told him
that not only was the mail not from me, it was clearly from
elsewhere and was clearly identifed as to who sent it, where
it came from, what servers it came from, and what accounts.
Filing false claims is illegal. Rennaker will find
this out very soon.
For the rest of you dumb red necks - if you have not
yet gotten the message, let me give it to you straight: you
all need to get out of this sport, and get out of our hair,
and get out of teaching , especialy teaching, and you need
to lose our name.
For anyone who is considering taking any courses
related to cave diving , let me asure you that there are a
handfull of great instructors, and about 50 complete idiots,
with one Bill Rennaker being the absolute worst, in my
opinion, and my opinoin is backed up by my results as a
diver, as a cave diver , a project leader, and as one who
has developed equipment and techniques in use by the top
team in the sport, one who is responsible for 80 divers and
for dive plans that involve multiple participants in extreme
exposures on a routine basis for the past several years.
Anyone who wants to check my track record can not
only ask around , they can read about it in the last six
years' worth of dive journals and magazines, and read the
articles arthored by me or coauthored by me on topics of
phyiology, decompression, dive planning , scooters, lights
,rebreathers, logistics, etc - go see for yourself.
In my opinion, Bill Rennaker is the absolute,
unequivocal , worst dive instructor in cave diving , and his
attitude is one that we would not allow in the water with
us, and his methods, techiniques, gear rigging ( and total
lack of knowledge) are all so bad as to be actually
forbidden practices of our group - ask anyone is the WKPP.
Call me for more details on why this guy whould be avoided
at all costs. I think this guy is dangerously stupid, and
you will, too.
But you make up your own mind, do not take my
opinion as any reason to avoid this guy : SIMPLY GO INTO THE
ARCHIVES OF AQUANAUT.COM AND CALL UP ARTICLES BY RENNAKER.
This will prevent you from making the mistake of dealing
with him, and let me assure you that his buddies are no
better.
I hope all of you can see what I have been saying
all along about these guys: look at what the Longs did, look
at what Wayne did, look at Rennaker, and look at what all of
the others I mentioned have done, and look at what I do and
what my project does, and tell me where I have not been
right on the money with everything I have said about cave
diving and about the goobers, and look at how they are
proving who and what they are, and we are proving who and
what we are - look at the instruction by us, the products we
create, the information we give, the diving we do, the
results we get, and look at the Rennakers of the Goober
colony out there.
Just take a good look - these guys are the death
of this sport, and we are what can keep it alive and useful.
