i've been using an attached hood for years. never had a prblem with it. until
my DUI i always had a back entry & doing the seal was never a problem. i have
a separate hood on my current cf200 &  when the water is warm(62+ degrees)
then it doesn't matter, however in 34-50's it got me a few times in the back
of the neck when i had to look down & man that will wilt your willy.

& what the heck have you  got against doctor dentons? they're my favorites.
