Just some ramblings from a newby to tech diving. *********************************************************** This is not as unfesiable as it seems I have used pressure flow switchs for hydraulic work in the past, these are mechanical-electrical transducer and are installed in pipe, so that when the pressure exceeds a certain limit the pipe opens, There are used as a safety blow out. If the switch could be placed in a reg second stage pipe, which in a poseidon has a pressure of 11 bar greater than ambient, ( someone correct me if I am wrong), then if you could reverse the switch, and set it to 11.6 bar on an oxygen bottle reg, it surely would only give you oxygen to the second stage if at 6m or above. However two problems 1 I don't know if there are switchs to fit in the diametre of a second stage hose Any HYdraulic engineers out there will ing to find out?? 2 Does the pressuer of a second stage hose decrese as you breath of it, I don't think that it will but this will depend upon the preformance of the first stage and its responce time, and the pressure gradient accross the bottle/first stage/second stage interface Any body got any answers ??? ************************************************************************* _/_/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/_/_/ tow@uk*.ac*.nb*.ua* _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ PROUDMAN OCEANOGRAPHIC LABORATORY _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ BIDSTON,MERSEYSIDE _/ _/_/_/ _/ _/ ENGLAND.
