MOst of the people I dive with are possibily rec divers, they don't
have any anti tec feelings, they just reguard us as "into it" more than
them, we have an urge to try and get better by exploring different
ideas.
However if it was not for the rec diver my kit would not be advanced to the
state it is now, and I may still have been diving without a nice drysuit
as they are the market that buys most of the equipment, hence why companys
develope further, and my kit gets safer etc etc
Out of the number of dives a year how many are truely in the tech depth
region, I would postulate not as many as in the rec region, and I would
not exactly say that my friend Slumm Around, they enjoy the pleasure of
diving as much as the next person!.
