Stefano,

What did you expect from Mares ;-)?

As a cold water diver I have two suggestions for you; either our own Swedish
brand Poseidon's Cyclon or Jetstream, or Apeks TX50 (TX40 is also OK).

I use the TX50 on my rig and Poseidon's regs on stages - it's a matter of
taste which to choose, and what I hear from friends, the two brands perform
equally good in cold water environment, and they are the best on the market at
the moment.

Regards,

Scarlett

Ok guys, another bother question about freezing regs....
don't flame me, please ;-).

I don't want ask WHY this happens, I already know it, but since it
happened to me last Sunday now I'm looking for a 'freezeproof' reg.

I've two Mares MR12/Navy. On Sunday I went diving on a lake. The temp was
5'C.
When I was 40m deep, one of my reg starts freeflowing....The problem was I
had
to stop my dive!!!
I called Mares, they said they know the MR12/Navy has this problem...

So I'd like to know from people who dive regularly in cold water wich is
a good reg to use there, wich you use...some advice....

I'd like to buy a new one, I was thinking about the Mares Abyss, but...
something about Poseidon?

Can you help me? Thanks in advance.

	Bye, Stefano
