I'm not sure, as by Georges standards i am a stroke becuase I don't dive manifold - perhaps i'm just a superior diver as it would seem one has to be to dive independents safely. Maybe its because the tank may be more easily turned off accidentally ie, upon contact with the roof of the cave??? Who knows, but George will probably reply if you ask him directly.
